The total submission to the will of Allah is The reason behind the creation

Adh-Dhāriyāt (Scattering Winds)

هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ {٢٤}

Has there come to you the story of Abraham’s honored guests?

إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا سَلَامًا قَالَ سَلَامٌ قَوْمٌ مُنْكَرُونَ {٢٥}

When they came to him and said, “Peace.” He said, “Upon you be peace.” [saying to himself] “Unknown people!”

فَرَاغَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ فَجَاءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ {٢٦}

Then he went quickly to his household, and came with a fat [roasted] calf,

فَقَرَّبَهُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ {٢٧}

and placed it before them and said, “Will you not eat?”

فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَامٍ عَلِيمٍ {٢٨}

He felt apprehensive about them. They said, “Do not be afraid,” and gave him glad tidings of a knowledgeable son.

فَأَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ فِي صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ {٢٩}

His wife cried out loud, and struck her face [in astonishment] and said, “[I am] a barren old woman!”

قَالُوا كَذَلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكِ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ {٣٠}

They said, “This is what your Lord said. Indeed, He is the All-Wise, the All-Knowing.”

قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ {٣١}

Abraham said, “Then what is your mission, O messengers?”

قَالُوا إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَى قَوْمٍ مُجْرِمِينَ {٣٢}

They said, “We have been sent to a wicked people,

لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِنْ طِينٍ {٣٣}

to send down upon them stones of clay,

مُسَوَّمَةً عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ {٣٤}

marked by your Lord for the transgressors.”

فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَنْ كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ {٣٥}

We brought out those believers who were there,

فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ {٣٦}

but We only found in it one Muslim household [Lot's family].

وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَا آَيَةً لِلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ {٣٧}

And We left there a sign [as a lesson] for those who fear the painful punishment.

وَفِي مُوسَى إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ {٣٨}

And [there is a sign in the story of] Moses when We sent him to Pharaoh with compelling proofs,

فَتَوَلَّى بِرُكْنِهِ وَقَالَ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ {٣٩}

But he and his supporters turned away, and he said about [Moses], “A magician or a madman!”

فَأَخَذْنَاهُ وَجُنُودَهُ فَنَبَذْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ {٤٠}

So We seized him and his soldiers, and cast them into the sea while he was blameworthy.

وَفِي عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ {٤١}

And [there is a sign in the story of] ‘Ād, when We sent against them the devastating barren wind.

مَا تَذَرُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيمِ {٤٢}

It spared nothing it came upon except that it reduced it to ruin and decay.

وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا حَتَّى حِينٍ {٤٣}

And [there is a sign in the story of] Thamūd, when they were told, “Enjoy yourselves for a while.”

فَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ {٤٤}

But they rebelled against the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them, while they were looking on.

فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مِنْ قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنْتَصِرِينَ {٤٥}

They could not withstand it, nor could they ward it off.

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِنْ قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ {٤٦}

And the people of Noah [were also destroyed] before them. They were indeed a rebellious people.

وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ {٤٧}

We built the heaven with might, and We are indeed expanding it.

وَالْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ {٤٨}

And We spread out the earth. How well did We smooth it out!

وَمِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ {٤٩}

And We have created everything in pairs, so that you may take heed.

فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنِّي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ {٥٠}

So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am a clear warner to you from Him.

وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آَخَرَ إِنِّي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ {٥١}

And do not set up another god with Allah. Indeed, I am a clear warner to you from Him.”

كَذَلِكَ مَا أَتَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ {٥٢}

Likewise, no messenger came to those before them without being told: “A magician, or a madman!”

أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ {٥٣}

Did they suggest this to one another? Rather they are a transgressing people.

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَا أَنْتَ بِمَلُومٍ {٥٤}

So turn away from them [O Prophet], for you are not to blame.

وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَى تَنْفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ {٥٥}

But keep reminding them, for reminder benefits the believers.

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ {٥٦}

I have not created the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

مَا أُرِيدُ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ رِزْقٍ وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ يُطْعِمُونِ {٥٧}

I seek no provision from them, nor do I want them to feed Me.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ {٥٨}

Indeed, it is Allah Who is the All-Provider, Lord of Power, the Mighty.

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ذَنُوبًا مِثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ {٥٩}

Indeed, those who do wrong will have a share [of punishment] like that of their predecessors, so let them not ask Me to hasten it.

فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ يَوْمِهِمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ {٦٠}

So woe to those who disbelieve from [the punishment of] the Day which they are promised.
